The Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal has established the following societies to recognize our most generous and loyal donors who ensure the archdiocese is able to continue its mission to provide vital services across our 10 counties:
Friends of the Cardinal’s Appeal
Friends of the Appeal are those who have demonstrated their commitment to the Cardinal’s Appeal with a gift of $1,000 or more. The support of our friends is the foundation of the Cardinal’s Appeal’s success. We recognize their generosity by honoring them in our online listing.

Assembly of Stewards
The Assembly of Stewards consists of our philanthropic leaders who have demonstrated their commitment to a vibrant and financially solvent Church in New York with a commitment of $5,000 or more. In recognition, they are honored in a special way annually in Catholic New York and are also recognized on our online listing.
